Your Questions Answered

Safety of your baby is my number one priority and I always ensure that my vaccinations (including Whooping Cough and Influenza) are up to date. I am also vaccinated for COVID-19.

The best time for maternity photos is between 32-36 weeks (but please don’t leave it this late to book). At this stage of your pregnancy you will most likely still feel comfortable and mobile – if you leave it too late, there is a chance that your baby will arrive early and you will miss out on maternity photos altogether. If you book your session for before 32 weeks, we may not capture the full roundness of your beautiful, expanding belly.

Maternity photos can be taken outside on location at sunset or in the comfort of your own home. If neither of these options suit you, we can also look at hiring a studio space (additional cost applies).

For your maternity session it is important to wear clothing that will accentuate your beautiful belly – this might be a fitted dress or top, a maternity dress or if you’re open to it, something that will show a little belly skin, like an open shirt. If you would like to organise something a little extra special, Mamarentals offer a beautiful range of dresses to hire at a discounted rate for clients of Foxbelle Photography (enquire for the discount code). And if you are unsure of what to wear or would like some styling advice feel free to send through some photos of what you have in mind.

Absolutely! Your Maternity Session is all about the connection you have with each other as well as to your unborn baby. If you have children already, please choose thee Classic Maternity package. Fur-babies are welcome at all sessions.

Although maternity photos are scheduled for between 32-36 weeks, some babies have a plan of their own. If yours decides to come super early and you miss out on your maternity session, you will receive a full refund.

It’s completely normal to feel a little uncomfortable in front of a camera. But don’t worry, unless you a model, nearly everybody feels like this. My job is to make your session as light and enjoyable as possible and I have nearly a decade of experience doing just this.

A sneak peak from your photography session will generally be shared on Instagram or Facebook within a few days. The full selection of your photos will be available to view within 1-2 weeks
